My name is Jian-Peng Li, but you can call me Leo. I'm currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science at Cornell University as a Merit Scholar, following my Bachelor's in Mathematics-Computer Science and Economics from UC San Diego. I'm always enthusiastic about collaborating on innovative projects at the intersection of machine learning, infrastructure, and product development.

My experience spans diverse sectors, including EduTech, Healthcare AI, FinTech, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. I am passionate about creating scalable solutions that integrate intelligent automation to address practical challenges—from enhancing research workflows to managing extensive medical datasets. Technically, I specialize in backend engineering, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), multi-label classification, and multimodal retrieval systems. I've leveraged these skills through roles at Anivance AI, Cathay Financial Holdings, and academic research projects at UC San Diego.

In addition to my technical roles, I've served as a Teaching Assistant for foundational Computer Science and Data Science courses at UCSD. I also co-founded Triton Quantitative Trading, leading full-stack development initiatives and securing strategic corporate partnerships. I enjoy exploring new technologies and incorporating them into my own applications. I always push myself to learn so that I can create the most up-to-date and enjoyable content to share with others.
